All Posts – Post timing. All tour stops posts must be up no later than 8 a.m. Eastern on the day of your stop and must be the top post for the entire day (24 hours). After all, our aim is to give the book full exposure and burying the post doesn’t achieve that goal!

If a tour host buries their post, they will no longer be eligible to be a Rockstar Tour host.

All Posts – Failure to post. If a tour host fails to post during their scheduled tour date, an email reminder will be sent and the blogger will have one hour to publish their post before they will be removed from the tour and replaced. If this happens a second time, the blog will be no longer be an eligible tour host at Rockstar Book Tours.

All Posts – Content. All posts must include the following - tour banner with a link to the tour page, book cover, synopsis, Goodreads and buy links, tour stop post and/or review. All graphics and links will be sent well before your tour stop. Optional - author bio and photo, links to the author’s website, blog, Facebook page, Twitter, Goodreads, etc.

Review Posts. If you are scheduled for a review stop and find that the book is just not for you or that your rating of the book is below 3 stars, please email us to let us know in advance - not the day before your stop - so that we may send you a promotional post instead. You may then post your review after the tour if you wish.

Giveaways. If you have a giveaway included with your stop, Rafflecopter code will be provided for your post. If you have a blog that won’t accept the Rafflecopter code, please let us know and we can provide a link to an external Rafflecopter form.

Signing Up

Signing up to be a tour host is not a guarantee that you will be chosen for each and every tour you wish to participate on. Host selections will depend in part on the size of the tour, number of applicants and whether their blog is the perfect match for the tour.

How It Works

Once a tour is open for sign-ups, it will be posted here at Rockstar Book Tours, and an eVite or email will be sent to tour hosts. We will also tweet the tour sign-up announcement for those who may not yet have signed on as tour hosts and wish to participate.

Once sign-ups have closed we will make our determinations and finalize the schedule. An email will then be sent to everyone who was accepted on the tour. Ideally we would have all these details finalized two months prior to the tour, but in some cases the turnaround time may be shorter.

The notification email will include the tour stop date, tour banner, post type, and review copy. (If it's a print copy, it will be mailed out). If you’ve requested an interview, we would need all questions for the author back within one week if not related to the book and at least three weeks prior to the tour if interviews contain book-related questions.

A final email will be sent approximately one week before the tour kicks off, which will include your specific tour stop material, giveaway details, and any other info you will require for your tour stop.

    1. Hi Litza - Sorry for not adding your blog's name to the list. We're quite a bit behind and give the fact that we have almost 600 bloggers signed up for our tours, it doesn't seem feasible to list every one on this page in quite the same way.

      But if you have registered and get our emails through mail chimp then you are registered as a host!

    1. Hi Amber, if you fill out the form you'll receive the email newsletters with the tours offer. Anyone who signs up will be considered for a tour. We don't send out confirmations to say "you've been chosen" to be a host, as everyone who signs up is a potential host.

      If you like any of the tours you see in the email newsletters, then feel free to sign up and you'll be considered for the tour!
