About The Book:

VALENTINE
After almost three centuries of running from my past, I should be used to loneliness. Being a mythological monster isn’t compatible with relationships. But the craving for company grows stronger every day, turning routine into an endless nightmare and making me wish for an end to my immortality.
The explosive encounter with a beautiful, lethal fae who knows what I am and how to destroy me reminded me of that proverb: be careful what you wish for.

AXEL
I thought fate could not surprise me after almost six hundred years. And then there she is—the echo of the brave young woman I’ve heard legends about. Only she isn’t human anymore, but a vampire, the greatest enemy of my species. After a fight that could have killed us both, and an uneasy truce, I am left with burning curiosity and so is she.
But will curiosity be enough to quench her thirst for my blood and my impulse to kill her before she strikes?

About The Book:

It’s that summer between the end of high school and the start of something else. Dean Stockton and Curt Hutton are best friends, and more often than not you can find them rowing on the Rogue River at dawn.

Together they experience something they will never be able to describe adequately. But then they won’t really need to. Not to each other. It’s that moment of swing when rowers find the rhythm and everything falls into place. The shell seems to lift right out of the water.

Enter Isabelle Smiley. She’s beautiful yet insecure, knowing yet innocent, and crazy about Curt in a way that no girl has ever been crazy about Dean. She wants Curt to choose a college closer to home than the one he and Dean have selected—and she can be persuasive.

“I’d never be able to hold out against a girl like Smiley,” Dean admits.

“Don’t say that,” Curt replies. “I told her she’d have to convince you, too.”

Everyone is conflicted in this story of friendship, lust, and life-changing choices. Only one thing seems certain to all of them: If Smiley strikes a match, Dean will catch fire.

Lee Sci-Fi  tour runs for two weeks from January 24th-28th & January 31st-February 4th, will have one or two stops a day on a Blog, Instagram, or TikTok and consist of reviews, pre-made guest posts, excerpts, & spotlights. About The Book:

"Meddle not with what we don't understand." Future-primitive Tellurians have enjoyed a peaceful coexistence with nature for centuries after the moment of technological collapse, described in ancient texts as Cloudburst. Only the studied elders are aware of a diaspora virtual civilization who secretly covets their energy ...and their bodies. When a fisherman unwittingly discovers clues about other people wielding great technologies, fear and uncertainty of exposure throws both societies into conflict, and forces a clutch of artificial intelligence stewards to confront their own shortcomings. As real and virtual worlds collide, so too do the worldviews that have caused this centuries-long stand-off.

Nordic noir meets hard science fiction in debut author I.S. Lee's deep, twisting Aur Child. Prepare to be lured into a multi-faceted, uncertain futurescape where the boundaries between right and wrong, good and evil, and heroes and villains are blurred by the complexities of that reality. Portrayed through the eyes of its cast of flawed characters, Aur Child challenges the contemporary conventions of shallow, whiz-bang entertainment and the status quo reliance on sex and violence for uninspired storytelling. It delivers a slow-burn epic adventure that eschews the worn-out tropes of the post-apocalyptic genre and sends you on a journey through time and contemplation like nothing you've ever read before. Will you meddle?

About The Book:

A spellbinding story of three princesses and the destiny they were born for: seduction, conquest, and the crown. Immerse yourself in the first book in a new fantasy trilogy from the author of the New York Times bestselling Ash Princess series.

Empress Margaraux has had plans for her daughters since the day they were born. Princesses Sophronia, Daphne, and Beatriz will be queens. And now, age sixteen, they each must leave their homeland and marry their princes.

Beautiful, smart, and demure, the triplets appear to be the perfect brides—because Margaraux knows there is one common truth: everyone underestimates a girl. Which is a grave mistake. Sophronia, Daphne, and Beatriz are no innocents. They have been trained since birth in the arts of deception, seduction, and violence with a singular goal—to bring down monarchies— and their marriages are merely the first stage of their mother’s grand vision: to one day reign over the entire continent of Vesteria.

The princesses have spent their lives preparing, and now they are ready, each with her own secret skill, and each with a single wish, pulled from the stars. Only, the stars have their own plans—and their mother hasn’t told them all of hers.

Life abroad is a test. Will their loyalties stay true? Or will they learn that they can’t trust anyone—not even each other?

Excerpt:

The radio clock showed eleven thirty at night when JT pulled his car up to the curb in front of a shuttered storefront. A dim light shone in the entry hall that led to the upstairs apartments where Glory lived with her mother. A few mailboxes hung open, and a small wastebasket sat overflowing with junk mail. Glory laid her forehead against the car window, not wanting to move, not wanting to get out, staring at her building’s heavy wood-and-glass door, knowing that when she walked through it, JT would be gone.

She leaned back in the seat and looked at him. He hadn’t said a word the whole ride. The nighttime mist had turned to drizzle, and the shadows from the raindrops on the window looked like dark tears sliding down his face. He still looked like the little boy who told her to close her eyes and say “I do” and then kissed her. Since it had happened in church, it meant they were married, he’d said. She punched him until a teenager stopped her, but he wouldn’t take it back. He’d started calling her Mrs. Glory because that was what you called married ladies.

“Are you sure you’re okay, Miss Glory? I swear, I didn’t plan that.” His whispered question sounded just like the ten-year-old boy who’d rescued her Barbie dolls from the dumpster—the boy who could light up her day with Barbie shoes.

“I’m fine. It only hurt a little. I know you didn’t plan it. I wanted you. I don’t regret anything,” Glory said, though that was a lie. She regretted waiting and being angry at him for two months. She regretted not being able to go with him.

“Are you gonna wait for me, Miss Glory?” His voice was low and unsteady, almost like the thirteen-year-old boy who’d wiped blood from her split lip her after mother had slapped her. He’d put his arm around her and asked her to be his girlfriend. When she said yes, he’d kissed her, split lip and all.

She slid closer to him, took his hand from the steering wheel, and pulled his arm around her. She slid her arm under his jacket and around his waist, basking in his warmth. “Yes. I’ll be right here when you come back.” Glory wished that were true. She prayed that would be true. She desperately needed that to be true as much as she needed him not to go.

“I hafta do it,” he said in answer to her unspoken plea. “I can’t be a good father now. I’m seventeen. All I know how to do is play basketball and Ms. Pac-Man. I cain’t do nothin’ for my son. I cain’t do nothin’ for you.” He held her tighter, trembling, like he’d done an hour earlier when they made love again for real… just like when they’d lain down together… when they touched… when they gasped… when they kissed and they trembled together.

She kissed him again. She tried to reassure him and to thank him in that kiss. She tried to pour herself into his soul in that kiss. Then she laid her head on his shoulder, and they listened to the growing storm as the blue light of the radio clock rolled over to midnight.

Tradition or love? It’s an age-old question.

The hot love between Amir and Rory doesn’t cool down. Now she is forced to choose between acceptance in her community—and the parents she loves—or give up the erotically charged cinematic love story she never thought she could find.

What will Rory do?

Praise for THE WHITE COAT EFFECT

“This was a page turner. Not only does the story tickle your senses, but the characters are well developed and I felt I knew them intimately. Hot and interesting would be the best way to describe it. I'm not that familiar with the medical world but this makes me want to dig deeper! The White Coat Effect would make a great movie or TV show... I hope that happens! Amazon Review

"
Fantastic book ! It was truly a page turner . As an Operating Room Nurse myself for 20 years , I could totally relate to the medical student’s experience while being scrubbed in and working with other residents and attending Surgeons. This book had me laughing one minute and crying the next. “Amazon Review

Excerpt:

Excerpt from The White Coat Effect By L.B. Wells

I remember when I first truly fell in love with surgery. It coincided with my first true love for Amir Hadid, the man who changed my life.

* * *

The first two years of medical school had been primarily book learning. It was boring and seemed to involve tons of rote memorizing. Social life was a non-starter. I was horny and bored. My third year was also a colossal disappointment. Now I was entering the fourth year, rounding the corner of my first clinical year. Everything would change, I thought, as we engaged with real human patients. I stood in full uniform—scrubs, ponytail, clogs—ready to be thrown into the icy waters.

I had reported for duty at City Hospital in Westport without much instruction on what to expect. There were no smiles, no pleasantries. I was briefly introduced to my new surgical team, and I shook hands with Shay Meyer, the intense Israeli man who would be my chief resident for the month.

We headed toward the first patient’s room. Suddenly, a tall, dark figure in scrubs brushed past me. As our shoulders met, the tattered carpet generated a painful electric shock.

“Watch where you’re going!” I said.

“Everyone, listen up.” Shay, the chief resident, was now addressing us. “This is our fourth-year resident, Amir.”

“Oh shit,” I whispered, head down, my cheeks flushing with embarrassment at having rudely chastised an important superior.

I took the risk of looking at him. I had to look; we were being introduced. From behind the Clark Kent glasses, his eyes hit me with 360 joules of energy, the maximum setting on a defibrillator.

It was him, the handsome stranger I had seen in passing a few years prior and once, I confess, in my dreams. He stood well over six feet, with an imperious chest and broad shoulders filling out his short-sleeved green scrubs. His forearms flexed the muscles of a day laborer, his dark skin

gleaming.

All of his kinetic energy pulsed through light-brown eyes with a dramatic touch of emerald green. His face, deep in concentration, seemed to harbor a spiritual and probing intelligence.

Warning bells from my childhood were chiming insistently.

With a name like Amir and his coloring, he was almost certainly Arabic, not exactly the ethnic origin that my parents had in mind for a mate.
